Google says that its latest update to Google Translate will be the biggest leap since the 1990s.
If you have used Google Translate, you will probably realise that it is not as good as humans at translating language. But Google has recently has incorporated neural networks to improve the accuracy of its speech recognition.
Google announced its Neural Machine Translation (NMT) in a paper which described how it's neural networks will close the gap between human and machine translation.
While Google Translate still makes mistakes, it seems to have allowed Google to cut errors by up to 85 percent across a number of different language.
