What’s New At Apple – WWDC 2017

Once again, Apple have announced their latest and greatest at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference. Here are some of the features coming to an Apple device near you (as well as some things you have not seen from them yet).

  • Apple HomePod - Siri is now baked into the HomePod speaker. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa
  • iMac Pro - the design looks very nice and the specifications look great. But it comes at a price!
  • Amazon on Apple TV - possibly only to the latest device though, so the rest of us may need to upgrade
  • Apple Watch - new faces and fitness features
  • iOS 11 - Maps has been upgraded so hopefully it will catch up some ground on Google Maps. The best feature? Do Not Disturb While Driving. The interface is - a completely blank screen. Fantastic idea!
  • Augmented Reality - Apple haven't really jumped into this arena yet, so we will wait to see how this works when it is released
  • Smarter Siri - Siri is going to be able to anticipate your needs better. This tech is tough, so it will be very interesting
  • iPad Pro - a new 10.5inch display device

You can see a good synopsis of the announcements in the video below.
